Nowadays, due to the
population increasing and raising public
awareness of health and nutrition in order to obtain the properties of the
food, as mental effects it is tried to public information, the main reasons of
diseases, such as depression (which is seen in different ages), impatience,
hopelessness, insomnia, loss of appetite, lack of concentration, restlessness,
fatigue and depression symptoms. The risk of depression may have many reasons,
but what must be considered is the effect of food consumption on the prevention
of depression. The results show that consumption of some food items such as
cereals, especially semolina flour for making pasta is essential. Due to important
amino acids that tryptophan is a precursor of serotonin (the amount of 162 mg
per 100 g) can be effective in preventing of the disease.
